Superfriends
SPECIAL EVENTS

Our Special Events workers assist our staff and Board
through out the year with our annual "Taste of the Town"
fundraiser, other fundraising events, and special projects,
birthdays and holiday parties, events & activities to assist
our families, and in the community awareness programs.

Superfriends
SUPERFRIENDS
A Superfriend works with a child or children of a parent who
is participating in our programs.  The Superfriend serves as
a mentor for the child through fun activities such as trips to
the park, assistance with school work and other visits with
the child at their home.  This can be a rewarding relationship
for both you and the child where you can make a real
difference!

Parent Aides
PARENT AIDES
A Parent Aide works with a family that is involved with The
Family Center.  Their main goal is to be a support to the
parent by reinforcing the lessons taught through our parent-
ing classes.  The Parent Aide serves as a role model
visiting the parent and family in person and by phone.

K.I.T.E.S.
                           K.I.T.E.S.
        (Kids Invited To Encourage Self-Esteem)
KITES is a self-esteem boosting program that the children
participate in while their parents are attending parenting
classes.  The Volunteers will help kids to strengthen their
self-esteem through various fun-filled games, crafts & activ-
ities or assist them with their homework.

We would be happy to find a place for you in any capacity that you desire.
We would love to have you as a partner in the prevention of child abuse!
