PARENTING CLASSES
![]() The Family Center teaches 2 different classes for parents with children ages 0-12. There is a prenatal class, "Great Start" for parents to-be. We also teach Positive Parenting classes for parents with kids from ages 0-12. Classes last 6 weeks - Call for information! |
CASE MANAGEMENT
![]() The Family Center offers in-home case management for families at risk for abuse or neglect. The case manager meets with the family to help them set and meet goals to keep their family safe and happy. |
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE?
![]() "Mission Impossible" is a 6week class for parents of unruly teenagers. Parents meet in a support group setting to learn communication and discipline tech- niques that work with teenagers! Topics also include drugs & gangs to educate parents about the options available to their child. At the same time, a support group is held for the teens. |
KIDS ON THE BLOCK PUPPETS
The Kids On
The Block puppets perform at the 3rd& 4th grade classes in Maury County. Nam & Steven visit the 3rd grade classes to talk about abuse & visit the 4th grade classes to discuss ADD/ADHD & differences. The kids say it best: "I learned so much I did not know...Now if someone tries to touch me I can stay safe." |
